Project Management Approach

McDonnell Landscape, Inc. is committed to continuous quality improvement. When developing a proposal for your large project, we’ll outline our management plan, customer feedback program, safety/security program, and quality control process.

McDonnell Landscape, Inc. uses a team approach to maximize quality and accountability. Each team, as a unit, has responsibility for the services performed. Working together, they ensure that all McDonnell’s quality requirements are satisfied on each assignment.

Commitment to Quality

This team approach can also be seen in our quality control plan. The Project Manager trains the team on quality standards and makes planned and random inspections, while crew chiefs and grounds maintenance workers review and report about each area on which they work. Monthly quality sessions allow the team to identify and adjust processes to maximize quality results.

Our Quality Control plan emphasizes the prevention and early detection of all possible deficiencies. The plan includes a detailed corrective action cycle to provide quick response if a problem develops. Each Project Manager can authorize re-performance of tasks or can immediately implement a change in procedures.

Additionally, McDonnell Landscape, Inc. establishes performance indicators that are used to establish trends in project performance. All indicators and trends are evaluated monthly by the Project Manager.
